A true Advertising expert, Creative genius  and seasoned Promotion Executive,  you will plan, design and create social media advertising campaigns and promotional materials (e.g., giveaways, contests, coupons, discounts and reward programs, etc.) for your respective audience.

Since we are a 100% virtual organization, you will work from wherever in the world you are located or wish to be in and will operate in a completely 100% virtual organization environment.

This position reports, on an interim basis,  directly to the CEO and will eventually report to the Chief Social Media Officer.

Responsibilities

• Own and direct the incentive sales strategy of your business segment
• Plan, design and create social media advertising campaigns and promotional materials
• Employ a variety of media for advertising campaigns using innovative revenue-sharing partnership arrangements, social media, and all other available means.
• Develop, manage and execute a compelling promotional strategy that aligns with divisional objectives and drives profitable growth for your business segment.
• Manage all revenue-sharing partner needs, including deal negotiations, reporting, tracking.
• Conduct global web-based presentations and close deals.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.

Experience

• Minimum six-figure prior compensation of $150,000 – $200,000  is preferred.
• Experience in digital/interactive/new media/social media promotional strategies and tactics
• Deep partner focus with understanding of target audience and their business needs
• Extensive global network of potential revenue-sharing advertising partners
• Extensive experience in forming C-level revenue-sharing alliances with media campaign partners.
• Extensive knowledge of social media tools and solutions is a must.
• Extensive creative design experience using the latest web-based tools is a HUGE  PLUS.
• Knowledge of career college and for-profit education marketing and admissions operations is HUGE PLUS.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of promotion experience, including 2 years of social media promotion.
• Thorough understanding of the education and event markets.
• Thorough understanding of, and extensive participation in, social networks.
• Speaking experience in both virtual and brick and mortar settings.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn how to operate independently and manage in a strictly 100% virtual organization environment
• Highly disciplined, focused, and extraordinary ability to adapt and thrive in a virtual organization environment
• Powerful and professional web-based presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in your native language
• Superior deal closing and customer service skills
• Must be totally self-sufficient in a 100% virtual environment
• Must be able to present in both small and large group settings in a virtual environment as well as in the Boardroom.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Education

A Virtual Organization Executive designation from VOMI Virtual Organization Academy,  to be obtained at our expense,  is an absolute must if judged a serious top tier candidate.    A waiver of that requirement will not be granted under any circumstances.    A B.S./MBA/Ph.D. or equivalent experience.
