Overview

A highly motivated email marketing executive, you will manage the development and execution of all email marketing campaigns for Virtual Organization Management Institute; perform well under pressure within a fast-paced environment;  and have strong commercial and creative awareness.

Since we are a 100% virtual organization, you will work from wherever in the world you are located or wish to be in and will operate in a completely 100% virtual organization environment.

This position reports, on an interim basis,  directly to the CEO and will eventually report to the Chief Social Media Officer.

Responsibilities

• Implement email marketing calendar including monthly emails for various segments within the business.
• Project manage and co-ordinate email marketing activity with all key internal and external stakeholders based on timelines and deliverables.
• Deliver high-impact email marketing campaigns with focus on improving open rates, click through, conversion and decrease churn rate
• Managing internal communication to relevant stakeholders and reporting on KPIs and recommendations for driving revenue.
• Implementation of enhancements to email marketing strategy including testing, cross-selling, dynamic content, etc.
• Conduct global web-based presentations and close deals.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.

Experience

• Minimum six-figure prior compensation is preferred.
• Background in Direct Response, dedicated Email Sales, Lead generation, Online advertising and Digital Marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, build and execute strategies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple resources and initiatives.
• Keen business analysis skills, and strong, mature judgment.
• Proven ability to partner with all stakeholders within an organization.
• Extensive experience in forming C-level revenue-sharing alliances with email campaign partners.
• Experience in digital/interactive/new media/social media promotional strategies and tactics
• Deep partner focus with understanding of target audience and their business needs
• Knowledge of media metrics, campaign tracking and optimization
• A minimum of 7-10 years of sales, marketing, and advertising experience, including 5 years of email marketing
• Thorough understanding of the education and event markets.
• Knowledge of career college and for-profit education marketing and admissions operations is HUGE PLUS.

• Powerful and professional web-based presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in your native language
• Superior deal closing and customer service skills
• Must be totally self-sufficient in a 100% virtual environment
• Must be able to present in both small and large group settings in a virtual environment as well as in the Boardroom.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Education

A Virtual Organization Executive designation from VOMI Virtual Organization Academy,  to be obtained at our expense,  is an absolute must if judged a serious top tier candidate.    A waiver of that requirement will not be granted under any circumstances.    A B.S./MBA/Ph.D. or equivalent experience.
